Blueseed Project 1 year ago Awesome and bold idea! What's the current range of the quadcopters? A San Francisco startup is working to do the same for food delivery. See tacocopter.com/
Arturo Pelayo 1 year ago Quadcopters keep improving and they continue to be applied for more innovative applications. The range of the quadcopters depends on what you use to power them: An electric drone with bigger battery would give you a better range, but it would also make the vehicle heavier. There is a compromise on both ends! TacoCopter was a fun idea, it definetely took people to talk about UAV applications within the United States airspace.
LIONEL LLORIS 1 year ago yep Arturo... Battery is THE problem! it's impossible today to do that! or may be with a big copter
Brendan Schulman Plus 11 months ago Forget quadcopters and use a fixed wing foam airplane. They go much further with the same battery power. Quads are power hungry. Four motors and you only get lift by pushing the air down. Wings are incredibly efficient by comparison.
